"Weetabix Gang" Advert Collection (1982-89) Weetabix commercial - Original animation drawing.
In the 1980s, Weetabix ran a beloved series of animated commercials featuring the "Weetabix Gang," which famously parodied the Three Bears and Goldilocks. This gang, comprising tiny "bovver boy" characters named Brains, Brian, Dunk, Crunch, and Bixie, was known for combating "titchy breakfasts" with their signature catchphrases: "If you know what's good for you!" and "OK!"
Created by advertiser Trevor Beattie, the iconic characters dominated the UK airwaves from 1982 until 1989. They often starred in spots where they interrupted the Three Bears' morning routine or disrupted the giant bowl of porridge to promote Weetabix as a proper, substantial breakfast.
